The Truth is hidden, it is thine own self.
"From time to time the masters come, to guide the child humanity back to God. They bring a message: They say there is God. Our souls are made of the same essence as God. We are all born with the same privileges as God, Whom we have forgotten." - Sant Kirpal Singh
God created man after His Own Image: All consciousness and light. We are children of that light: Conscious entities of mind and matter.
"It is written in the prophets, they shall all be taught of God." - Jesus
In the beginning was the Word, the I AM of all Creation. There is a Maker of this universe, it did not just come about by itself. This Eternal Word is unchanging. Everything else is made of matter, always changing.
A dynamic energy force was sent into the abyss of space at the dawn of creation as thought vibrations. These vibrations never cease, but continue through the ages framing all things that constitute and inhabit the universe.
The Spirit moved over the waves, and God said let there be...
There is a sound which cannot be heard by the ear. A light which cannot be seen with the eye. A Word ineffable in any tongue. It's been called many things: The Tao, the Pearl of Great Price, the Philosopher's Stone, the Holy Grail. It is self-existent, has no name, no form, no beginning or end. It's an essence. In Judaism it's the I am; in Christianity it's the Logos; in Buddhism it's the OM. It has always been the same.
"He that hath ears to hear, let him hear." - Jesus
The sound of Truth vibrates within, a song in every being. There is a divine purpose behind the life of everyone who comes into this world, no one has been created for nothing. What is that purpose? The awakening of the soul is the most essential part of life.
"Is it not written I said ye are gods?"
God is calling us, but the signal is jammed by the noise of the outer world and the static of our thoughts. In His Presence we feel at home, free of worry, safe from harm and truly loved as we are, no matter what our condition. How do we reach this place? Many a mile to freedom.
We have lost our way, looking everywhere for the one thing we can't identify because it isn't there. Everything is a vivid projection of Mind: The spellbinding manifestation of our collective thoughts and desires; impulses and sense impressions. These are always changing. We are not our thoughts, our true self is God-Consciousness: Eternal Being. It never dies and never changes.
"I and the father are one."
What did he mean? तत्त्वमसि (Sanskrit) Tat Tvam Asi.
It means you are it!
"The end of every human being is to discover this fact for himself- to find out who you really are." - Aldous Huxley
The soul longs to return to this place, its true home. So close and yet so far! This is the journey, the only thing left. The voyage is long and we need guidance to show us the way. Your Higher Self is the Teacher, a quiet voice within. God listens to the prayers of all those that seek Him, even the silent yearning of the heart. He understands all about us, after all He created you and I. Our Father.
"You didn't choose me, I chose you. I am with you always, I will never leave you or give up on you. I go to prepare a place for you, that where I am you may be also."
Bodhisattva: Like a ferryman, many travelers have taken this journey before us, then turn around and help other seekers on the path to reach the opposite shore. In order to keep it you must give it away. To this end we are all here, to make our way home no matter how long it takes. The Bodhisattva waits.
For the aspirant, when it feels like God has abandoned you He is closer than ever. It is how He draws us in from without, learning to trust Him. Having all the answers is not important. The hard times are the growing pains necessary for transformation, by shedding the old things and making way for the new. Even Jesus experienced this feeling on the Cross, Why hast thou forsaken me? He proved that no matter what, nothing can hurt us permanently. The trials always pass, followed by a sense of peace and accomplishment- you are that much closer to home.
